1. well, first of all this is targeted at the writing, hence the emphasis on characterization failure rory instead of failure rory (I wonder if then it would be ok because there’s that other meme called failure amy that’s got over 2,000 notes!!!). but there’s nothing wrong with disliking a character because of how shitty the writing treats them, specially if it’s the shitty writing that’s making them dislikable. there are people who will agree with these memes that used to like Rory but got fed up with how he is written, and there are people who will agree with this meme because they’ve always hated him. deal with it.

I’m SO SORRY! I actually forgot you have to to turn anon on. I don’t mean to take away people’s chances to speculate on why I happen to find Rory a very poorly written character (god knows it’s easier than to pay attention to his character and realize he is in fact very underdeveloped). this is actually one of the reasons I made the blog! I’m turning it on now, so please be kind enough to go back to my askbox and find alternate reasons to Rory’s lack of development other than the fact that he ends the show pretty much the same way he started (with a bonus cool car and a domestic wife).
